Χωρικές Μεταμφιέσεις Ελέγχου: Η συμβολή τους στο αίσθημα του φόβου

Στην παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία επιχειρείται η ερμηνεία και ο συσχετισμός του ελέγχου και του φόβου, δύο εννοιών που είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένες μεταξύ τους, καθώς η μία προκαλεί και προκαλείται από την άλλη. Ο χώρος που μας απασχολεί και εμφανίζονται αυτές οι έννοιες είναι η σύγχρονη πόλη, ο τόπος δηλαδή που οι περισσότεροι από εμάς καλούμαστε να κατοικήσουμε. Υπό το πρίσμα του φόβου και της συνεχούς ανακύκλωσής του, παρουσιάζονται τα σημαντικότερα χωρικά αποτυπώματα ελέγχου στον αστικό ιστό των τελευταίων δύο αιώνων έως τη σύγχρονη πραγματικότητα και τη μορφή που έχει πάρει ο έλεγχος σήμερα.

Spatial disguises of control: Their contribution in eliciting fear

This research thesis attempts to interpret and correlate the terms of control and fear. These terms are inextricably linked as the former causes and simultaneously is caused by the latter. The space where these two terms take place is the contemporary city, in which the majority of us live in. This research demonstrates the most important spatial imprints of control in the urban environment from the early 19^th century until the contemporary reality and the form of control nowadays, in the light of the sense of fear and the constant recycling of it.
